Legal information / Pre-launch
Privacy,
by intention.
This notice describes the first version of the METROPOLIS website. Operator and hosting details must be finalized before public deployment.
What this website collects
This version does not include advertising trackers, an analytics SDK, public accounts, newsletter subscriptions, payment forms, or a Founding Residents registration form. Journal searches and roadmap filters run in your browser and are not sent to a search service.
Technical delivery
Your browser requests pages, fonts, images, and other resources needed to display the website. A deployed hosting provider may process connection information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the service. The hosting provider, retention periods, and operator contact must be documented before a public launch; they are not established by this local implementation.
Cookies and browser storage
The application does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies, or store visitor profiles. Hosting or security services added during deployment must be assessed and reflected in this notice before they are enabled.
External platforms
Links to Roblox, Discord, and social channels take you to services with their own privacy practices and age requirements. This website does not receive your account credentials from those services. Do not share passwords, recovery codes, or other private account information with anyone claiming to represent METROPOLIS.
Younger visitors
This site is informational and does not ask visitors to submit personal information. Community services have separate requirements and moderation procedures. Follow the age requirements of the platforms you use, and avoid including private information in community reports.
Optional audience measurement
Aggregate measurement is disabled by default. If the operator enables it, the website counts page views by day, public page, broad traffic source, and an approved campaign name. It does not store visitor identifiers, IP addresses, raw referrer addresses, search text, or arbitrary campaign values in the analytics database. Counts describe events, not unique people or verified game acquisitions.
The browser skips these events when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled. Aggregate records are retained for up to 90 days and removed when the measurement service records or reports data. The operator must confirm the applicable notice and consent requirements before enabling measurement; no advertising cookies or visitor profiles are created by this feature.
Contact and updates
A verified operator privacy contact is not configured yet. This is a pre-launch requirement and must be completed before the website is publicly deployed.
This notice will be updated as the service changes. See the website terms for the current project and access status.
